Summer Gaming Popup at MOA

Thank you for your interest in joining the 2D Cru for the Summer Gaming Pop Up at the Mall of America.
This is a huge event for us as we are utilizing the busiest area of one of the busiest tourist destinations in the country.

Roadshow Updates

Starting with Pride 2025 we are implementing new rules for staff during events. Only scheduled and assigned staff will be allowed in certain event areas such as backstage. Scheduled and assigned staff will be given staff badges. Non-scheduled or assigned staff are welcome to attend every event, but must be aware of crowding and give space priority to attendees and staff who are on shift.

  • Roles
    • Load in / set-up – Organize and pack equipment at 2DHQ on July 3, Set-up on July 4
    • Load out / tear-down – Organize and pack equipment at MOA on July 5
    • Gaming Attendant – Manage gaming areas and ensure that systems aren’t being hogged
    • Tech Support – Ensure games set up, powered on and working, assist with stage tech as needed
    • Line Management – Control the line to enter the pop up area, and prevent overcrowding
    • Float – Assist staff when/where needed, food delivery, etc

  • Active 2D Con 2025 staff
  • Over 18 years of age
